Memory, Truth-telling, and the Pursuit of Justice: A Conference on the Legacies of the Marcos Dictatorship is a volume of essays that recount the events and craft new narratives about the Martial Law period. Originally a conference held in September 1999, one of the main goals of the conference is to underscore the importance of preserving the lived-experiences of Martial Law survivors so as to continue the act of truth-telling that is instrumental to the pursuit of justice for the victims of the dictatorship.
